On 30th – 31st May 2024 the 10th Europe Conference of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA) took place in the Conference Centre of Ethniki Asfalistiki, in Athens, Greece. The agenda, among other things, included the below topics:
- emerging insurance distribution models;
- digital risks and the challenges of new technology and other disruptors;
- health insurance and how the insurance sector can best compliment the public health sector;
- recent developments in cyber insurance) and in directors & officers (D&O) insurance;
- catastrophe perils and insurance;
- underwriting, policy wording and claims responses in a net zero-directed world of climate change;
- civil liability arising from climate and catastrophic events; and
- other legal and technical issues of concern of the insurance sector.
Our director, Christos Voniatis, participated together with other insurance lawyers on behalf of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FIL).
