Christodoulos graduated from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology, Cardiff in 1974, where he obtained the bachelor’s degree in Economics (B.Sc. (Econ)).

He entered the insurance industry in 1977 in the City of London where he worked for a Lloyd’s marine insurance broker. In 1977 he obtained the professional qualification of the ACII (Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute) specialised in Marine Insurance and since 1993 he holds the professional qualification of the FCII (Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute) and the designation of the Chartered Insurer.

He is a Certified Trainer of Vocational Training of the Human Resources Development Authority, a training instructor at the Insurance Institute of Cyprus (IIC) since 1983 and was a visiting lecturer at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) from 2009 to 2018 delivering lectures on the Postgraduate subjects of Managing Risk in the Insurance Industry and Marketing in Financial Services.  

During his career path, he has been involved in a broad range of insurance services holding managerial positions in various insurance organisations both in the General and Life branches.

Currently, he is an independent vocational training instructor and an insurance consultant providing his services to insurance companies, insurance intermediaries and sales networks.
